Volunteer State Books

Volunteer State books encourage reading at Central High School by offering some of the best in young adult literature. Students and teachers read the books and then have a breakfast on the first Tuesday of every month to discuss the books.

A list of new books is released every year by the Tennessee Association of School Librarians. Students and teachers enjoy the books throughout the school year and vote for their favorite book in the spring.

Visit the official Volunteer State Book Awards site for more information.
