Shelter

If you are stranded in the wilderness and are going to have to stay even one night you need to have some sort of shelter to protect you from the elements. Shelter can be as simple as the clothes on your back or could be an elaborate tent. The quicker you can construct a shelter the better and more rugged the better.
tent using poncho
The shelter constructed above is very simple yet very durable the only down fall is the two open ends.
tepee
Tepees are very intricate and may take a long time to build but if you build a tepee you will have wind protection all around you. If your tepee is big enough you may be able to burn a fire inside it.
one man tent
The shelter constructed above is very simple but it is only big enough for one person.
debris tent
If you do not have a canvas or something to use as a tent you can construct the shelter above this will take longer than stretching material over a frame but this shelter could save your life on a cold night.
