Every year at Central High School, there are two magic words muttered that always excite the entire student body. The two words? Spirit week. This week is the one week of the year that the students get a chance to celebrate and show off the entirety of their school spirit. Spirit Week takes place the week of the football homecoming game.  This year, the mighty Bulldogs went up against the Sweetwater Wildcats.

During this week, the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes competed against one another to win the spirit stick. To collect points, students participated in different activities such as special dress up days, a penny roll, and a series of games. At the end of the week the class that had the most points won the spirit stick, which was presented at the football game during half time festivities.

Congratulations to the juniors for winning the spirit stick this year!!!

Each class has a homecoming queen candidate that competes to raise the most money for the athletic department. The candidate that collects the most money is crowned "Homecoming Queen" at the homecoming football game during half-time.

The homecoming queen candidates for this year were:

Senior: Kristen Lavender
Junior: Bethany Harlan
Sophomore: Sirena Klopfenstein
Freshman: Alyssa Adkisson

Congratulations to Alyssa Adkisson for winning homecoming queen for 2007!!!!
