Special Olympics

The Special Olympics is a fun time for Special Education students to get together and compete for awards and prizes.

Special Olympics is a "field day" type event with various races, relays, and games. Special Olympics at WCHS is for students in Morgan and Scott County. Approximately 50 students and their teachers and parents enjoy this event annually.

Several students and others in the community volunteer to make this event possible for the special needs students of Morgan and Scott Counties. Many service clubs participate in Special Olympics, helping with various events to obtain community service hours.

Special Olympics 2005 was celebrated on May 12.
