Website Updates

The 2007 Website Foundations class has been working hard on the WCHS website. A Classroom Activities and Photo Albums section has been added. The Classroom Activities section contains articles and pictures that tell about what is going on in the classrooms at school. Photo Albums has many wonderful pictures that the web design class has taken around campus, at drama plays, band performances and practices, football games, and other sports. Students in Website Foundations and in the Video Production class have been working together to put great videos on the site for everyone to enjoy. Currently, video clips are available for each football game and the band’s halftime performance.

Classroom Activities

The class has also been learning how to work in Macromedia Fireworks and Macromedia Dreamweaver programs. Students must learn how to work in these programs to be able to maintain websites. Validating web pages is another big part of web design. In order for your web page to be validated, it has to be properly coded using XHTML.

The Website Foundations class encourages you to visit our site daily. New things are always being added such as: daily announcements, football and band videos, and new photo albums.
