Personnel Changes

Mr. Rodney EllisonThere have been several faculty changes at CHS for the new spring semester. Mrs. Jessica Hudgins has taken over for Coach John Bangley as the Social Studies teacher. Mr. Bangley is now the assistant principal and athletic director for a private school in Florida. Mr. Rodney Ellison is the new assistant coach and has taken the place of Mrs. Hudgins as an alternative teacher.

Ms. Samantha CoffeyAlso, the school has two student teachers for the first part of this semester. Ms. Samantha Coffey is working with Mr. Zandy Knox and his classes. Ms. Coffey is the niece of former CHS teacher, Ms. Regina Headden. Mr. Mitch Hawn is working with Coach Aaron Jones and his classes. Mr. Hawn graduated from Central High in 1991 and is currently employed by Morgan County as an EMT. Both Ms. Coffey and Mr. Hawn will graduate from TTU in May with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

The school's new math teacher is Mrs. Diane Howard. She is team teaching with Mrs. Ruth Hurst in the Algebra II classes. She is the mother-in-law of Mrs. Tammy Howard and has 20 years of teaching experience in Roane County Schools.

We welcome all of these teachers to Central High, and we are glad to have them here.
