On Tuesday, February 20, Harlem came to Wartburg when
Melvin Adams, a former Globetrotter, spoke to CHS students about succeeding in life and fulfilling their dreams. Adams visited several schools in the county and spoke to the high school students about being leaders and overcoming obstacles to succeed in life.
Adams' message was filled with both wit and wisdom as he shared personal experiences and how he has used a combination of hard work and determination to be successful in life.
Read accounts from several Web Design students on the assembly program:
Later that same evening, Adams spoke to area youth at Coalfield School.
