The excitement at CHS basketball games is evident as the boys’ and girls’ teams play together and play hard. After six weeks of season play, the Lady Bulldog’s record stands at 2-5 while the boys’ team holds tight to a record of 7-2.
Games two weeks ago were against two other in-county schools, Sunbright and Coalfield. Both teams won over Sunbright with the girls scoring 57-47 and the boys winning 65-47. The Bulldogs traveled to Coalfield for Friday night action against the Jackets. The girls' team was defeated by the Lady Jackets 42-27. The boys' team claimed a victory of 89-61 over the Jackets.
Teams will participate in the Harriman Christmas Classic tournament at Harriman High School.
