CHS basketball action is continuing towards the end of what has been an exciting season. Last Friday night, teams competed against the Oliver Springs Bobcats in two close matches. The games saw one of the biggest crowds of the season.
The Lady Bulldogs competed well against the Lady Bobcats, but by the final buzzer were down 31-27.
The boys’ team lost 86-70. At the match on Oliver Springs’ home court on January 10, the Bulldogs defeated the Bobcats 95-85. This brings the boys record to 15-4 overall with an 8-1 district record and 12-2 record for the region.
Games this week will be at Oakdale on Tuesday night, Harriman will travel to the doghouse on Thursday night, and the much anticipated Rockwood game will take place here at CHS on Friday evening. Friday is also senior night, when senior players are recognized at their last home game.
Continue to come out and support the bulldogs as the season comes to a close and playoff competitions draw near.
