CHS teams win over Midway, look forward to more

The CHS basketball teams are enjoying exciting, winning seasons already.  The Midway game on November 15 presented a victory for both the girls' and boys' teams.  The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Green Waves 63-21.  The boys' team defeated the Green Waves 69-48.

On Tuesday of this week, the Bulldogs faced the Greenback Cherokees. The girls' team was disapointed with a loss at 29-43. The boys' team claimed another victory with a 77-33 win over the Cherokees.

This week is sure to hold more excitement as the teams take on the Oneida Indians Friday night.

“We look forward to competing on a high level this week,” said junior Tyler Winstead. 

The school is anticipating a game against the Coalfield Jackets next week, the county rival.
