Story by Skylar Adams
On Thursday, April 17, four of the five top CHS seniors from the class of 2008 attended the Knoxville News Sentinel Academic Achiever’s Banquet held at the Knoxville Convention Center. The top five seniors from each school in East Tennessee were invited to attend the banquet. Each student was recognized for their hard work in front of their parents, family, and friends.
The night started off with speaker Bruce Pearl, followed by a wonderful dinner. After dinner, each student was recognized and received a gift of an ink pen with a hidden jump drive inside. Representing CHS were Skylar Adams, Madison Branstetter, Stacey Galloway, and Vade Scruggs. All four seniors and their families had a great time sharing this achievement.
