Testing Dates

Writing Assessment

February 5, 2008
All Juniors are required to take the writing assessment.

Testing for Fall Semester Courses:

Gateway Exams- December 4-6, 2007
Courses that have a gateway exam are:

• English II
• Algebra I
• Biology

Students MUST pass each Gateway Exam to graduate.

End of Course (EOC) Exams - To be announced
EOC Exams are to be given the last 10 instructional days of the course.
Courses that have an EOC Exam are:

• English I
• Physical Science
• U.S. History
• Math Foundations II

EOC Exams count 15% of the final course average.

Testing for Spring Semester Courses:

Gateway Exams- May 6-8, 2008
Courses that have a Gateway Exam are:

• English II
• Algebra I
• Biology

Students MUST pass each Gateway Exam to graduate.

End of Course (EOC) Exams- To be given within the last 10 instructional days of the course.
Courses that have an EOC Exam are:

• English I
• Physical Science
• U.S. History
• Math Foundations II

EOC Exams count 15% of the final course average.
