Provided funds to purchase equipment which students will use in recording and transcribing the oral histories of area residents. Six oral history interview kits consisting of a tape recorder, 35mm camera, notebook, and tapes in a convenient carrying bag are available for students to use. A transcribing machine as well as a tape duplicating machine will assist in preserving the stories.
