This grant was received by the Walden's Ridge Cluster. A group of students, teachers and community members work together on local historical research, as well as oral history. They also do things throughout the community. Students and teachers act as pioneers in the emphasis of school-wide development of place-based learning.

This grant is intended to support the printing of informative placemats intended to educate and foster appreciation of the Emory River Watershed, an awareness of the Association restoration, and protection of the watershed.
