Compaq awarded a Pentium computer workstation to the computer lab in recognition of the Family Heritage Project which Mrs. Cross' advanced computer students complete. This project integrates computer-based technology, supports the development of higher order thinking skills, and promotes collaborative project-based activities.

Regina Headden described the Rugby project which her World Geography students completed for the Tennessee ConnecTEN project in 1996 as an innovative method of incorporating computer technology in the classroom.
