Journalism

Journalism is a course designed to enable students to use communication skills and production skills in order to produce material for different types of Mass media like newspapers, magazines, television, radio, movies, etc.

This course will focus on the school's yearbook.  Students are expected to help with distribution of the yearbook in the Spring and continue to cover stories and photos all year!

Each student is required to complete each task such as gathering and producing copy, assembling and designing layouts, editing copy, and selling yearbook advertisements.  Students are expected to sell ads!!!  This is a very important part of the yearbook!  The grade will take all of these expectations into account.
