Courses

Foundations I

In Foundations of Math I, we will study: the application of numbers and variables; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, integers, decimals, and fractions; basic geometry; area and volume; area, proportions, and percents; basic statistics and probability; and basic algebra.  The main goals of this class are to achieve a level of proficiency that will allow each student to function in the real world and pass the state competency test.

Since we are on block scheduling, a lot of material has to be covered in a relativly short period of time.
