Contemporary Issues

In Contemporary Issues, we will be studying current events issues that affect our lives or our culture.  These can be world, national, state, or local news or important items that we feel we should discuss to become more informed citizens of our world. 

These issues can include but will not be limited to: gun control, terrorism, war on terrorism, rights of the accused, civil rights, gender rights, crime and punishment, the death penalty, environmental concerns, technology issues, high profile criminal and civil cases, politics and elections, Supreme Court decisions, and interstate traffic in and around Knoxville.
