Dual Credit Composition I / English IV

In this course students obtain both a high school English IV and a college Comp. I credit. The Composition portion of the class is designed to develop proficiency in primarily expository styles of writing, such as narrative, argumentative, and classification. With English IV students study the literature of Britain including Beowulf, Chaucer, and Shakespeare. In this lecture style class, students learn the art of note taking in preparation for future collge courses.
