Algebra One

Changes in society and in the use of technology require that you have a strong background in mathematics. The emphasis in this class is not only on algebra skills, but in developing the ability to:

• Know and understand mathematical ideas, concepts and procedures
• Reason and think critically
• Solve Problems within mathematics and other subject areas
• Use mathematics beyond the classroom

Because of the block scheduling, the pace of the class is swift. Mrs. Foster encourages you to discuss any problem with her, no matter how small, so it can be corrected as soon as possible. To assist anyone who is having difficulties, she will be available from 7:30 to 8:30 and 3:30 to 4:30.
