Courses - Accounting II/Excel Spreadsheet


Students in Accounting II/Excel Spreadsheet continue to work with the accounting cycle using double-entry accounting. Excel spreadsheets will be used to prepare financial statements.

Prerequisites include completion of Accounting I demonstrating the ability to analyze transactions correctly and prepare basic financial statements for a sole proprietorship and partnership. In addition, students should possess strong keyboarding skills and basic knowledge of the Windows operating system and of a word processor including file management and basic formatting skills.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will have earned three of the four courses required in the Accounting program of study (Computer Applications, Accounting I, Accounting II, and Business Management) in the Information Technology Career Cluster.
