
Obed Wild and Scenic River is located in Morgan and Cumberland counties. The park includes the Obed River and other creek tributaries from the main river. The park contains around 45 miles of waterway cut out of rugged gorges. Some bluffs are as high as 500 feet from the water. Whitewater boating, rock climbing, camping, fishing, and hiking are offered.
A welcome center in Wartburg contains a museum of various educational exhibits.
