The community of Lancing is arguably one of the most beatiful areas in the south east.
The town area of Lancing was once a bustling area. Trains still run through the town, recalling for residents the bygone days of railroad dominance in the area. For years, the train tracks were the seperating line between the eastern and central time zones. This was evenually changed because much confusion was caused having the far west end of the county in a different time zone.
Lancing was involved in the mining, logging, and railroad industries in the past, but today is a quant, picture-perfect example of nature's serenity.
