Imagination Library
Imagination Library is a nation-wide program providing
books to all pre-school age children. Sponsored by East Tennesse native Dolly Parton, the program has more than 1000 enrolled children in Morgan County alone.
The program is teamed with Tennessee Govenor Phil Bredesen's Books from Birth program which also encourages early literacy.
Donna Jerden is the director of Morgan County's Imagination Library Program.

Any child under age 5 is eligible for the benifits of Imagination Library.
If you are not a resident of Morgan County, check with your local officials, pre-school teachers, or the Imagination Library web site to see if Imagination Library is offered in your area.
From 1996-2006 The Imagination Library has distributed over 3,000,000 books to children. It is expected that 3,000,000 books will be distributed this year alone!
