Storytelling

Storytelling is an ancient form of art that has been passed down throughout every generation. The Storytelling Club at CHS learns about the concepts of presenting stories and practices this.

The WCHS Storytellers attend several storytelling events throughout the school year such as the Smoky Mountain Storytelling Festival, events at the Big South Fork National Park, and their annual Telebration. Several members have competed in the annual Roane State Academic Festival. Students also compete in The National Storytelling Hall of Fame competitions in Pigeon Forge.
