On old Wartburg’s eastern border,
Reared against the sky,
Proudly stands our Alma Mater,
As the years go by.

Green the boughs that rustle ‘round Thee,
On Thy stately crest,
Dearer are the mem’ries of Thee,

Though the years of life provide us,
Each a sep’rate part,
May the shining mem’ries of Thee,
